Policies and Procedures

Updated Policies and Procedures will be e-mail to all parents and students before re-opening. Please read thoroughly!


Online registration is highly encouraged, but enrollment in person or over the phone is also available during open registration.

Payment in full is due at the time of registration. We accept credit/debit cards, cash, or paypal.

If less than three students enroll in a class, the class will be canceled. In the event of cancellation, any enrolled student will receive a full refund.

Class schedules and instructors are subject to change.

If a student enrolls in a class outside their age range or approved level, they will be asked to move to the appropriate class, if spots are available. If no spots are available, a refund will be issued.

By registering for any class, you agree to sign our liability release before your first class.

We do not allow drops-ins for regular classes. Students must register for a full eight-class session to attend class.


We offer one make up class per session. Students making up an aerial class can join active flexibility or the Sunday age appropriate class. If you are in a ground-based class, please contact your instructor or Jill to find out your make-up class options.

A refund will be issued if cancellation for a workshop occurs seven days prior to the event; refunds will not be issued for cancellations after that point.

In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel a class. Credit will be given for the canceled class. Please check our website and Facebook for updates on cancellations or schedule changes.

All class registrations are non-refundable. Registration is transferable as long as the transfer occurs before the start of the session, provided the student is eligible for the class.

Safety Regulations:

All inversions require a mat.

If a staff member sees a student acting in any way deemed inappropriate or unsafe, the student will be asked to stop and will be reminded of the rules of safety and etiquette in the facility. If this occurs multiple times, the student will be asked to sit out for the rest of the class or session based on the instructor’s discretion with no refund.

No students are allowed on aerial apparatuses without explicit instructor permission. This includes open floor. If you are not approved for aerial open floor and you attempt to use an apparatus, you will be asked to leave the facility without a refund.

If a student is more than 10 minutes late to a 60-minute class or 15 minutes late to a 90-minute class the student will not be able to participate. This is to ensure the safety of the student(s.)

We do not endorse, recommend or give advice on any at home rigging.

Equipment and Facility:

Frankfort Circus Center is not responsible for any lost or stolen items

The facility and all the equipment therein must be treated with respect. This means following all posted signs, chalking over the bucket (not all over the floor) and no intentional rough play with props.

No chewing gum.

No street shoes or food on the mats.

Please clean up after yourself.

Please do not touch equipment that is being adjusted by an instructor.

The Frankfort Circus Center is under constant surveillance for security and insurance purposes. Though you may be captured on video, your image will never be used without your permission.

We supply all materials needed for classes. If you would like to bring your own equipment for a ground class it must be inspected and approved by an instructor prior to use. No outside aerial equipment allowed.


No jewelry, buttons, zippers, buckles, or jeans are allowed during aerial classes as they may cause personal injury and/or damage to the apparatuses.

Generally, long athletic pants or leggings are recommended for aerial classes.

Group Class Policies:

Parents are welcome to stay for their child's first class of the session. After the first class, parents are welcome for the last 15 minutes of each class only.

During this allotted time:

• Parents, or any individuals that are not students, staff or instructors, are not allowed on the mats

• Devices must be silenced

• No derogatory comments will be directed toward students in training

• Any concerns about class conduct should be brought to the attention of the instructor outside of class time

All directions of instructors must be followed or you or your child will be asked to leave the class without a refund.

If you are sick, please do not attend class.

Any open wounds must be covered.

If a student is impaired in anyway by drugs or alcohol they will be asked to leave, and no make-up lesson, class credit or refund will be available.

Students may not teach other students.

No negative comments about yourself or others in the class is allowed. This is a safe space for all students to learn and express creativity.

Private Lesson Policy:

Private lessons must be arranged directly between the instructor and the student. If the student is a minor, a legal guardian may be asked to stay and observe the lesson.
